Apple Ethernet LC Card

The Apple Ethernet LC Card (820-0443-D1) was one of the first PDS (Processor Direct Slot) Ethernet cards and gave early LC and Performa model Macs access to an Ethernet network using a single AAUI port that could be converted into any major cabling type.

The card is powered by a single Sonic Systems Ethernet controller and will work in many models that have have LC style PDS slots including 4xx, 5xx, 6xx series LCs and Performas as well as 62xx and 52xx series models.

The only major chips on the board are the square Sonic Ethernet controller and the rectangular ROM chip in the centre.

The back of the card has only the model name and part number with no chips or other components.
