The Macintosh II Video Card (also known as Toby) was the first colour NuBus card Apple produced and was introduced with the first NuBus Macintosh, the Macintosh II in the late 80s.
The card is equipped with 256 KB of video memory that supports 640 x 480 resolution displays at 16 colours (4-bit) and can be upgraded to 512 KB which increases the maximum colours to 256 (8-bit). Both my cards are upgraded.
I know of at least two revisions of this card, revision A7 (820-0198-A7) and C (820-0198-C). The only major difference I can see is the revision C card has 120ns memory whereas the A7 card has slower 150ns memory. I am not sure if the card takes advantage of the faster memory, however.
